Depending on the issue, the health care provider can provide a diagnosis, suggest follow-up care and prescribe medication, when appropriate. Not all illnesses can be addressed via UW Health Care Anywhere – if necessary, you may be directed to go to the Emergency Department to receive care in person.
If you are an Apple Health user you will have the option to share important health information with your provider during your video visit. Sharing Apple Health data is optional but allows the provider to see heart rate, weight, and other health information to help them make a more accurate diagnosis.
